\nPosition Summary:\n\nThis position is responsible for feature development and optimization of existing code in an AngularJS, NodeJS, MongoDB stack.\n\nEssential Responsibilities: \n\n\n\n\n* Designing and developing mobile-first applications\n\n* Creating and maintaining clean and clear front-end code and backend APIs for our web and mobile applications;\n\n* Maintaining excellent test coverage for our code base;\n\n* Working with our shared services and field teams to identify application bottlenecks and make relevant architectural decisions;\n\n* Working with our frontend application developers to optimize performance across our system;\n\n* Designing administrative tools for our shared services and business development teams;\n\n* Constantly optimizing our code bases with an eye for modularity and legibility;\n\n* Writing documentation for our external and internal APIs.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\n* Strong understanding of RESTful JSON web API design principles;\n\n* Demonstrable experience with AngularJS or React, NodeJS, HTML5, and CSS;\n\n* Familiarity with popular NodeJS packages (e.g. express, socket-io);\n\n* 4+ years of experience in JavaScript development;\n\n* 5+ years of experience in backend web development;\n\n* Familiarity with multiple additional programming languages/stacks;\n\n* Experience with NoSQL databases, ideally MongoDB;\n\n* An excellent understanding of distributed systems and their tradeoffs;\n\n* Excellent documentation skills;\n\n* Ability to clearly articulate technical problems, design and implementation choices to a broad range of stakeholders (e.g. sales team, users, security experts).\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\n* Working knowledge of AngularJS or React;\n\n* Experience working with web sockets;\n\n* Familiarity with the AWS stack;\n\n* Experience in application security testing;\n\n* Familiarity with client-side JavaScript frameworks and best practices;\n\n* Contributions to open source communities.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
