About\nWe’re building Omni: a platform allowing developers to deploy applications across all rollups without fragmenting liquidity. We’re looking for early team members to help us bring this ambitious vision to life.\nWe’re a team who already built a platform that processed over $70M leading to our $18M fundraise from top investors including Pantera, Two Sigma Ventures, Coinbase Ventures alongside angel investors including Stani Kulechov (founder of Aave), Sandeep Nailwal (cofounder of Polygon) and more. In addition to this our most recent testnet onboarded over 300,000 users in less than two months. We are growing rapidly and we need ambitious and experienced team members to join us to help scale Ethereum's future.\nAbout the role\nEngineers who join in this role will be responsible for building frontend applications and Solidity based smart contracts to highlight our product suite.\nResponsibilities\n\n\n\n* Build the end user facing applications that empower users to interact with our technologies.\n\n* Build Solidity based tooling and template repositories.\n\n* Build Typescript based tooling to help improve our developer experience and accelerate our business development growth.\n\n* Consistently simplify the experience of using Omni's technologies by building tooling tooling around the core network functionalities.\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n\n* 2+ years of Solidity smart contract development with at least one production grade deployment that handled over $10m in TVL.\n\n* 3+ years of Typescript development across the SDK, backend and frontend levels.\n\n* 1+ year developing with a Web3 specific Typescript SDK like WAGMI, Ethers.js or Web3.js.\n\n\n\nCompetencies\n\n\n\n* Excellent communicator — must be able to distill complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to partners.\n\n* Action oriented — we are looking for people who take action by default, consistently driving forward progress without asking for permission\n\n* UX oriented engineer — must be energized by the idea of using their abilities to create seamless user applications in an industry notorious for difficult user experiences.\n\n* Autonomous — must be able to take high level concepts from product and BD and autonomously own the completion of those technical deliverables from architecture design to production deployment.\n\n* Systematic — proactively takes effort to track their responsibilities and map them out using best practices so that the wider team can better understand progress on multiple dimensions.\n\n\nOur benefits include competitive compensation, early stage equity allocations, team outings and unlimited PTO. In addition, you'll join a team of high caliber team innovating at the frontier of crypto that work collaboratively to help one another accelerate their personal growth.\nWe are a mission driven company. We believe deeply that through software engineering we can build a self-sovereign society. In our day to day, we make decisions based upon our company values of Individual Autonomy, Long-Term Orientation and Open Access.\nThe future belongs to all of us, independent of our origins. StreamYard is hiring a
Remote Staff Software Engineer

\nWho are we?? 🦆\n\nLive streaming is a great medium for storytelling – and telling great stories benefits everyone. Whether you’re a creator, content marketer, entrepreneur, or just someone with something to say, live streaming is an exciting and effective way to spread your message. But live streaming tools are very complicated. You shouldn’t need to spend thousands of dollars on a computer or learn about encoding, just to start live streaming. The world misses out on so many great creators because of these barriers. Dan and Geige thought there should be a streaming tool that anyone could use – a tool that was fun instead of stressful – a tool that was simple, but powerful enough to create engaging content. We wanted people who weren’t techy, or who simply didn’t want to deal with the hassle of streaming, to still go live, share their stories, and grow their own communities.\n\nGeige and Dan built StreamYard with three things in mind and continue to focus on these pillars today. The three StreamYard pillars include\n\n* ease of use\n\n* stability, and\n\n* professional streams\n\n\n\nStreamYard is built on those pillars. Our users tell us that StreamYard makes streaming fun – you can quickly create engaging content with guests, show on screen comments/lower thirds, and brand your broadcasts with themes, overlays, and backgrounds. You don’t need to know anything about technology or streaming to get started. And even though StreamYard is simple, techy folks love how powerful it is under the hood, and how effective it is for streaming group discussions.\n\nWe love StreamYard and its community. We work tirelessly to improve our tool and create the best experience possible.\n\nThe Team\n\nThe StreamYard Destinations team develops the core platform integration experience that StreamYard users interact with daily. You'll be working with a team that delivers a seamless and robust experience to allow users to connect all their different platforms and go live with just a few clicks to them all!\n\nAbout You\n\n\n* Profound backend experience: You have extensive experience in backend development, with a strong understanding of server-side technologies, database management, and API design. You are adept at architecting scalable, high-performance systems that can handle the demands of live streaming.\n\n* Frontend proficiency focusing on React.js: While your primary strength lies in backend development, you are also proficient in building web applications using React.js. You have a solid grasp of front-end development processes and are comfortable working within a React.js environment.\n\n* Proficient in Typescript: You have a solid foundational knowledge of Typescript and have a deep understanding of modern coding best practices. Your experience includes leading the implementation of these practices to enhance user experience and code maintainability.\n\n* Architectural leadership: You have a proven track record of architecting robust systems and software solutions. Your attention to detail is unmatched, and you are known for your ability to raise the bar for technical excellence within your team.\n\n* Ownership and initiative: You are a self-starter with an extraordinary ability to take ownership of projects, driving them from conception to completion within tight deadlines. Your proactive approach ensures consistent high-quality standards.\n\n* Collaborative and communicative: Your outstanding communication skills make you excel in both real-time and asynchronous collaboration. You are comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment and can effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.\n\n* Problem-solving prowess: You enjoy tackling complex problems and are often the go-to person for finding solutions to challenging technical issues. Your debugging skills are top-notch, enabling you to quickly identify and resolve issues.\n\n* Experience in fast-paced environments: You have a history of shipping innovative features in startup or fast-paced settings, demonstrating your ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic environments.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Typescript, API, Engineer and Backend jobs that are similar:\n\n $67,500 — $110,000/year\n

By building on the sophisticated cross-chain infrastructure of LI.FI, we offer a comprehensive multi-chain experience for any and every person in crypto to move and use their funds across chains as easily and flexibly as they desire.\n\n\nOur vision? We want to make multi-chain DeFi easy and fun!\n\n\nWhile we live under LI.FI’s umbrella, we pride ourselves in our small but excellent and very agile team. Jumper already has over 100k active users, and still we are only now getting started to build it from the ground up. This includes the establishment of a completely new backend and a scalable infrastructure for Jumper. Additionally, you will be very hands-on in our frontend and the LI.FI widget integration in order to quickly ship new features. In this role, you are expected to split your work between frontend and backend. In order to move quickly, the emphasis initially will likely be on frontend work during the first few months, with a gradual shift towards backend responsibility over the near-term.\n\n\n \n\n\nWe are a small team, and every one of our engineers is expected to strongly contribute to Jumper’s success by coming up with independent ideas and solutions to complex challenges. The current team includes: a Senior Full-Stack, a Junior Frontend Engineer, a Product Designer, a Technical Product Manager and a Business Lead. In addition, one more Full-Stack Engineer will be added to the team soon. In the near future, we would also love to see one of the Sr. Engineers to evolve into an engineering lead position for our small team.\n\n\n \n\n\nOur current stack:\n\n\n\n * Node.js running TypeScript code in Docker containers\n\n * NextJS and React.js\n\n * MongoDB and Redis\n\n * Github, Kubernetes, AWS and CloudFlare for our GitOps CD chain\n\n * Ether.js and Wagmi\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nPlease note: You must be located in the EMEA region. Your application will not be considered if you're outside EMEA.\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\n\n\n * Architecting and implementing scalable and robust infrastructure solutions that can handle growing user loads and evolving business needs (we are already used by over 100k monthly active users).\n\n * Developing and maintaining comprehensive test suites, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests, to ensure the reliability of backend systems.\n\n * Design and develop high quality frontend applications that are testable and maintainable.\n\n * Be responsible for development of prototypes, new frontend features and React components.\n\n * Leading the design, development, and maintenance of a newly developed Jumper backend system and APIs.\n\n * Collaborate closely with the Software Engineers, Product Manager and Designers within your team.\n\n * Review the work of your teammates and support them in their growth through guidance and mentorship where needed.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\nWhat makes a good candidate\n\n\n\n * Must be located in the EMEA region.\n\n * Effective communication skills (in English) with the ability to build relationships and work in a small but excellent team while self-guided on a day-to-day basis.\n\n * Extensive professional experience in a similar role (as senior or lead).\n\n * Experience in UX/UI development.\n\n * Experience in software design and architecture.\n\n * Knowledge of testing frameworks and principles.\n\n * Passion for new technologies and ability to autonomously evaluate them and make suggestions for improvement.\n\n * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science is a plus.\n\n * Previous working experience in the blockchain space or related technical understanding is a plus (especially with Wagmi).\n\n\n\n\n\nWe encourage you to apply if you feel your experience and skills equip you for this job but are not listed here!\n\n\n \n\n\nCompany culture\n\n\n\n * \nEmpowered teams: We take the best person with the right skills, and then inspire them to use them! We trust our team and give them the space and ownership to excel and achieve.\n\n * \nFlexible time management: We believe work should adapt to your life, not the other way around. We only schedule a few fixed meetings every week – you're free to arrange the rest of your time as you like.\n\n * \nInclusive culture: It’s our priority to make our whole team feel included, appreciated and respected. Our global, culturally diverse team is our most important asset.\n\n * \nRemote-friendly: We’re a fully remote, global company. Our Web3 tech stack includes Polkadot, Substrate, and Kusama.\nPeople in our collective are:\n\n\n* Highly motivated to contribute to Parity’s mission and be part of something bigger\n\n* Excited to work on projects that are groundbreaking and complex\n\n* Autonomous workers that self-initiate, but also collaborate well with others\n\n* Taking maximum accountability and having minimum ego at work\n\n* Comfortable with chaos and adapting to the ever-changing Web3 space\n\n* Continuously educating themselves about Parity and the wider ecosystem\n\n\n\nAbout the team:\n\nYou're applying to join the Product Engineering department, and you'll be focused on building and maintaining tooling and applications (written primarily in Rust and TypeScript) which make it easier for developers to explore and interact with Substrate based blockchains such as Polkadot.\n\n \n\n\n* Some examples of the projects you're likely to contribute to:\n\n\n\n* \nsubxt: a Rust based client library which makes it easy to connect to a Substrate based chain and interact with it.\n\n* \njsonrpsee: a Rust based implementation of the JSON-RPC protocol for client-server communication (used in Substrate and Subxt).\n\n* \nsubstrate-api-sidecar: A RESTful service build using TypeScript which exposes some high level APIs for gathering information from Substrate nodes\n\n* \nsubstrate-telemetry: a Rust backend and TypeScript+React frontend responsible for gathering and displaying live information about chains on the Polkadot network.\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout the position:\n\n\n* You’ll design, build and maintain Rust-based tools/libraries to help internal/external teams build, debug, instrument and manage substrate-based blockchains.\n\n* You'll find yourself gradually taking ownership of different areas of our codebases and projects.\n\n* \n\n* You'll likely spend around 70% of your time contributing to our Rust projects and 30% contributing to our TypeScript ones, with the exact split depending on your own skills and preferences.\n\n* You will work fully remotely, working in a remote team of ~10 engineers based mostly around Europe.\n\n\n\nAbout you:\n\n\n* Be able to work autonomously and function well in a distributed team. A big part of this is being an excellent communicator; conveying ideas clearly, helping others, sharing regular progress updates and raising concerns and blockers quickly.\n\n* Take an interest in blockchain technology in general and Substrate/Polkadot in particular: you'll build an awareness of the problems that the ecosystem faces and how we can help to solve them.\n\n* Have a passion and enthusiasm for the Rust programming language, its community and values: we use Rust extensively, and often push it to the limits to deliver robust and performant software.\n\n* Have demonstrable experience in TypeScript, in particular open source projects, and keen to grow and improve in this area.\n\n* Have a good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, HTTP and WebSockets, and demonstrable experience building HTTP based APIs and clients.\n\n* Ideally you'll live within 2 hours of UTC+0, but exceptional candidates outside of this timezone will also be considered.\n\n\n\nAbout working for us:\n\n\n* Competitive remuneration packages based on iterative market research, including tokens (where legally possible)\n\n* “Future of work” environment that’s remote-first and self-initiating with flexible hours\n\n* Team mates that are genuinely excited about their impact and projects\n\n* Access to the brightest minds in this space to learn about Web3 and develop your skills and knowledge while on the job\n\n* Becoming part of the wider ecosystem (career and networking opportunities)\n\n* Team and company-wide retreats\n\n* Work laptop\n\n* Opportunity to relocate to Germany or Portugal (with visa sponsorship)\n\n\n\n\n \n\nThose joining our collective as an employee in Germany, Portugal, and the U.K. also enjoy benefits such as health care, parental leave, PTO (28 days per year), local team events, yearly L&D budget, and language classes.\n\n\n\n\n\nParity is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Obol is hiring a
Remote Senior Frontend Engineer DApp Development

\nWho Are We?\n\n\nObol Labs is a remote-first research and software development team focused on Proof of Stake infrastructure for public blockchain networks. Specific topics of focus are Internet Bonds, Distributed Validator Technology, and Multi-Operator Validation. The core team includes 35 members spread across +14 countries.\n\n\nThe core team is building the Obol Network, a protocol to foster trust-minimized staking through multi-operator validation. This will enable low-trust access to Ethereum staking yield, which can be used as a core building block in various Web3 products.\n\n\nThe Network\n\n\nThe network can be best visualized as a work layer that sits directly on top of the base layer consensus. This work layer is designed to provide the base layer with more resiliency and decentralization as it scales. In this chapter of Ethereum, we will move on to the next great scaling challenge, which is stake centralization. Layers like Obol are critical to the long-term viability and resiliency of public networks, especially networks like Ethereum.\n\n\nObol as a layer is focused on scaling main chain staking by providing permissionless access to Distributed Validators. The network utilizes a middleware implementation of Distributed Validator Technology (DVT), to enable the operation of distributed validator clusters that can preserve validators' current client and remote signing configurations.\n\n\nSimilar to how roll-up technology laid the foundation for L2 scaling implementations, we believe DVT will do the same for scaling the consensus layer while preserving decentralization. Staking infrastructure is entering its protocol phase of evolution, which must include trust-minimized staking networks that can be plugged into at scale. We believe DVT will evolve into a widely used primitive and will ensure the security, resiliency, and decentralization of public networks.\n\n\nThe Obol Network develops and maintains three core public goods that will eventually work together through circular economics:\n\n\nThe DV Launchpad, a User Interface for bootstrapping and managing Distributed Validators\n\n\nCharon, a Golang based middleware client that enables validators to run in a fault-tolerant, distributed manner.\n\n\nObol Splits, a set of solidity contracts for the formation of Distributed Validators tailored to different use cases such as DeFi, Liquid Staking, and Fractionalized Deposits \n\n\n\n\nSustainable Public Goods\n\n\nObol is inspired by previous work on Ethereum public goods and experimenting with circular economics. We believe that to unlock innovation in staking use cases, a credibly neutral layer must exist for innovation to flow and evolve vertically. Without this layer, highly available uptime will continue to be a moat.\n\n\nThe Obol Network will become an open, community-governed, self-sustaining project over the coming months and years. Together we will incentivize, build, and maintain distributed validator technology that makes public networks a more secure and resilient foundation to build on top of.\n\n\nThe Role \n\n\nThe focus of this role is on developing and enhancing React-based web applications for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain to create Distributed Validators. This includes creating user-friendly interfaces, integrating with wallets, and ensuring the applications are absolutely secure and reliable.\n\n\nThe goal of this role is to enable the proliferation of Distributed Validators in the Ethereum Staking Ecosystem, by making them easy to create, view, understand, and interact with. This role requires working with agency and autonomy. It requires collaboration with cross-functional internal teams as well as dealing with external stakeholders. Obol’s Distributed Validator Launchpad, Obol’s static website, Obol’s typescript packages, and other applications will be under this role’s remit. \n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Develop and implement new features for our web applications using React, showcasing your expertise in creating user-centric solutions.\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure seamless delivery of high-quality products.\n* Contribute to Obol’s coding standards, design patterns, and development methodologies.\n* Drive innovation by researching and adopting the latest trends and technologies in the React ecosystem, ensuring our applications remain secure, competitive, and cutting-edge.\n* Act as a technical mentor for junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow and excel in their roles.\n* Collaborate with external partners integrating Obol technology into their dapps using the Obol SDK.\n* Take responsibility for maintaining and enhancing our current products, including our component library (obol-ui) and DApp (dv-launchpad).\n* Improve the accessibility of our interfaces to all types of internet users.\n* Harden the security of our React software and its supply chain.  \n\n\n\nRequirements\n* Professional experience in React-based Ethereum Application Development (examples below).\n* What we use for React Development: Typescript, Next.js, React Hook Form, SWR, Zustand, @headlessui/react, stitches.dev, tailwindCSS and others. \n* What we use for Ethereum Development: Foundry, Hardhat, Ethers.js, web3-react, @obolnetwork/obol-sdk, @metamask/eth-sig-util, @0xsplits/splits-sdk(-react), @gnosis.pm/safe-core-sdk, @synthetixio/synpress, @chainsafe/(bls/discv5/ssz) and others. \n* Previous delivery of react websites that enable non-custodial, wallet-based interaction with mainnet Ethereum or a similar EVM network with more than $100k in value handled. \n* Knowledge of JS/TS security and testing best practices.\n* Knowledge of JS/TS CI/CD best practices.\n* Experience working with Agile Software Development methodologies.\n* Web3 professional experience.\n* Proven ability to maintain and contribute to Open Source repos \n* Timezone between UTC-2 to UTC+3 \n\n\n\nNice to have\n* Ethereum staking experience.\n* Node.js or other backend development experience.\n* Solidity development experience.\n* Familiarity with docker and/or running servers.\n* SQL/NoSQL experience.\n* Experience working in a distributed remote team.\n\n\n\nBenefits\n* Fully Remote Working and flexible hours.\n* Meet the team at our Annual Offsites.\n* Chance to attend crypto and staking conferences.\n* Working with the purpose of decentralising Ethereum.\n* Generous paid time off.\n* Budget for equipment.\n* Budget for training or education.\n\n\n\n\n\nThank you for your interest. Slides With Friends is hiring a
Remote Senior Full Stack Engineer Vue.js

Slides With Friends is a platform for interactive presentations, group education, live polls/quizzes, and team building — we make group experiences more engaging, educational, and fun.

Our small remote team is looking to hire our first non-founding software engineer. You’ll work directly with our technical co-founder to help build and release new features as well as improve the reliability, speed, and organization of our codebase. This is a central, hands-on role and you will be a core part of the team: your work will directly improve our customers lives and you will see immediate results from the things you build.

As our first engineering hire it will be your job to bring technical expertise to our team and help us balance the need to develop and release new features regularly with the need to improve our code quality, organization, and testing. We aim to move at a deliberate, steady speed that will bring us the most progress and the best product over the long run.

To do well in this position you should have years of experience writing clean and reliable code, shipping features regularly, and taking ownership of complex projects from start to finish. You will be the primary builder of our software — this is a role for someone who likes to code and ship profusely and has the experience to do so well.

What we’re looking for

  • You have 6+ years of hands-on experience building complex production software for the web
  • You have a minimum of 2 years working with VueJS professionally
  • You have a strong grasp of HTML/CSS including grid, flexbox, use of preprocessors, and optimizing for browser compatibility
  • You want a role that is primarily code contribution (e.g. building and launching features)
  • You have a visible track record of delivering products and feature to end-users
  • You have solid written and verbal English skills and communicate clearly
  • You are experienced with modern best practices for automated testing, CI/CD, git, etc. and can help us improve where we need it
  • You have experience organizing large projects for reliability, testability, performance, and upgradeability and you have opinions on how best to do these things
  • You like to take ownership of projects and don’t need a lot of oversight or handholding
  • You understand the high-level goals goals of a project and create code that meets those goals, integrates elegantly with the rest of the codebase, and is ready for the future
  • You like to architect a project so it will be maintainable, testable, and extensible in the future. Thinking ahead is a key aspect of development for you

Extra credit

  • You have a CS, engineering, or similar degree
  • Experience building highly-available, scalable, real-time applications
  • Experience with Apollo/GraphQL/WebSockets
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Hasura, or cloud systems (AWS)
  • Experience with use of Cloudflare, Fastly, or CDN
  • Experience with SVG or Canvas rendering/animation

Technology

We currently use the following tech:

  • VueJs/Nuxt (migrating from 2 to 3)
  • Hasura backed by PostgreSQL
  • Apollo GraphQL over websockets
  • Cypress E2E testing

In the future we will be moving to: Vue3/Nuxt3, Typescript, more E2E testing, Storybook

Why work with us:

  • 100% remote and async team, we like working with talent wherever you are
  • Work when and how you want - we care about results not your hours
  • Your work will go directly into the hands of users and you’ll have a real impact
  • Work directly with the founders and get firsthand experience building and growing a bootstrapped SaaS company
  • Focus on deliberate growth and speed, not burnout-level pressure. Our goal is to build wonderful products over years, not push our team to the edge.
  • We value deep work and autonomy and have few meetings and minimal overhead

Things you might do:

  • Help us migrate to Vue 3 and TypeScript, adding tests and improving the organization of our code along the way
  • Suggest architecture changes that would improve performance and reliability for end-users
  • Architect and build a “single-player” or async mode for our presentations to help teachers and trainers assign quizzes
  • Implement a method for changing text sizing, positioning, and design on our responsive slides
  • Build new interactive slide types to add to our slide deck builder
  • Build a fast and light embeddable version of our interactive slides to use as live quizzes on a website
  • Update our GraphQL subscriptions, and relevant Postgres indices, to improve performance for groups of 1000+ simultaneous participants
  • Diagnose WebSocket disconnect issues and create a resilient solution that keeps our users connected and reduces error rates

About us

Our founders live in Philadelphia, PA (USA, UTC-5) and the team works remotely in a variety of time zones. Slides With Friends was started during the pandemic to help distant groups stay connected and have fun remotely — and we are continuing with the mission of helping improve group experiences, social gatherings, and remote relationships. We want to bring software to the world that has a positive impact and brings people together.

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams.
