You will lead a team of talented engineers to plan, architect, build, and own our highly scalable systems and partner with the product team to bring delightful customer experiences to life. \n\nWHO ARE YOU? \n\n\n* You are someone who likes to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration within your team.\n\n* You have experience working on applications from scratch through multiple iterations, closely collaborating with a product and design team\n\n* You are motivated by nurturing talent and can facilitate the professional growth of a team of talented engineers.\n\n* You help engineers understand how their work connects to the larger business objectives.\n\n* You enjoy thinking through technical challenges at a high level and then guide and mentor your team to understand the problem space and determine possible technical solutions.\n\n* You can keep the team focused on priorities.\n\n* You partner well with other Engineering Managers and enjoy working on organizational challenges and advise on and implement changes to our engineering processes and culture.\n\n\n\n\nBACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE\n\n\n* 5+ years of software engineering experience with experience managing senior engineers/tech leads\n\n* Broad experience with frontend and backend programming (Python/JavaScript/CSS/HTML for languages, and React for frameworks)\n\n* Experience with relational databases, like PostgreSQL\n\n* Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers\n\n\n\n\nProducts you will build and work on:\n\n\n* Consumer facing application (mobile and web) to engage and change behaviors to improve weight health.\n\n* Doctor and coaching internal platform that helps our team efficiently deliver the right care to the right members at the right time.\n\n* Robust internal framework of services that connects to external healthcare and non-healthcare data sources.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
