The front-end engineer plays a pivotal role in fostering collaboration between product design and engineering teams at Bonfire. This role combines the expertise of a front-end engineer with a solid understanding of UX and design principles.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Build out UI components for new features & improvements utilizing semantic and accessible HTML, CSS & Javascript
Maintain & scale the design system components & style guide in Angular/HTML/CSS
Promote the value & adoption of the design system throughout the organization
Collaborate with product designers to ensure a proper design system implementation in code
Develop & launch experiments written in frontend technologies using tools for AB testing
Participate in daily standups, planing, refinement and retrospective meetings

What you will do:
Build highly scalable and optimized components.
Implement client business logic.
Design the architecture of a web application, using Vue.js and TypeScript.
Collaborate closely with architects, designers, and back-end engineers.
Write tests.
Optimize the application.
Undertake code reviews of other team membersโ work.
What we expect from you:
Excellent knowledge of and experience with the technologies listed above.
A clear understanding of the architecture of a web application and its separate components.
An understanding of how the HTTP request lifecycle works.
An understanding of the principles of REST, WebSocket, SOLID, and OOP.
Knowledge of web application testing (Unit / E2E tests).
Experience using DI containers in work (using basic patterns).
The ability to work in a team.

Maintain and enhance our end2end tests for frontend
Design frontend features together with the product manager
Work with backend developers, data scientists and the product manager

Professional experience in React, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
Good understanding of automated end2end testing for frontend applications

About the Job
You will be responsible for all things web at PhotoCircle. This includes:

Organization Management Portal โ used by businesses to manage their team and organize their circles
Reporting Dashboard โ usage activity for business customers
New Business Onboarding System โ sign-up and payment flow for businesses
Must-Have
Ability to build rich frontend web applications with thick clients, with a strong emphasis on user experience
Understanding of the trade-offs among SPAs, SSR, statically generated content, and other web application architectures
Opinions about modern CSS architectures and methodologies, such as CSS preprocessing, CSS-in-JS, and utility-first CSS
