This role is fully remote but requires you to work in either Europe or Asia time zones. Benefits are outlined in detail below.
NOBODY LIKES JOB HUNTING, BUT THEREโS A REASON WHY YOUโRE HERE...
Maybe youโre sick of office politics and layers of bureaucracy and crave the support of a team whoโs got your back -ย without hidden agendas.
Maybe youโre overworked and underappreciated and want to be somewhere that prioritizes both your rest & output, and rewards you based on results rather than hours.
Or, maybe youโre just feeling stuck with your career and are looking for the right environment to excel and get to the next level.
Whatever your reasons, itโs exhausting and demoralizing to push back against a culture that doesnโt fit you.
We get it. We know how you feel.
Thatโs why we do things differently.
HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?
Take a look at the short 2-minute video below. This is who we are as a company and team:
If you can relate to what weโre about, this could be an amazing opportunity for you.ย
IS THIS YOU?
Weโre looking for an experienced copywriter who loves sleep optimization.

Is passionate about sleep, and enjoys the thought of empowering light sleepers all over the world to sleep better and do more.
Is naturally detail-oriented in thinking and writing.
Has strong critical thinking.
Is a native English speaker / writer with a keen understanding of American culture.

*You have superb attention to detail
You are someone who pays attention to every little detail โ not only in your work but in everything you do. This is a must-have for this position, and a fundamental core value at Vansburg.
*You are empathetic & creative
Success in marketing depends not only on numbers but also on your empathy & creativity. You need to be a student of human nature to discover new ways to get our message across.
HEREโS WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:
Writing great copy (and occasional content), including but not limited to:
Sales campaigns
Product launches
Email autoresponders
Product listings
Customer surveys
Company updates
Youโll also be working to grow our primary brand โย http://mantasleep.com โย along with the rest of the digital marketing team.
WHO WE ARE & WHAT DRIVES US:
Vansburg is the parent company of several category-winning consumer product brands, including Manta Sleep.
We believe office politics are destructive, small-minded, and evil.
We believe in fostering cooperation rather than competition.
We believe in open and transparent communication.
We believe in showing appreciation and gratitude every day.
We believe the best ideas should win - not who the ideas came from.
Who better to describe our work culture than our team members? Hereโs what some of them have to say:
โMy favorite thing about working at Vansburg is the flexibility it offers. We have control over our projects, our learnings, and our work time, which is truly a blessing. โ - Daisyย
โWe are trusted to get our jobs done however we want to with no micromanagement. I believe this kind of autonomy is rooted in trust. Trust in us to get things done, and trust in knowing that we have the right person for the job.โ - Lia
โA culture of mutual respect and safety - we're encouraged to share ideas freely and speak up when we have a different POV, and I think that's very healthy.โ - Nadia
LETโS TALK DETAILS: YOUR COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & GROWTH OPPORTUNITIES
Role & compensation:
Hours: Full-time
Salary Range: Negotiable
Location: Anywhere / fully remote
Youโll need to work during Europe or Asia time zones, as thatโs when our team members are online.
Benefits:
Bonus Program. Paid quarterly to the entire team when we hit our objectives.
Freedom & Control Over Your Schedule. Not built for the 9 to 5? No problem - work when youโre at your best energetically.
Open & Transparent Workplace. Information is shared with everyone, and team members develop the courage to be honest with each other.
Ownership of Your Work & Creativity. Your team lead defines the objective and you figure out how to get there. No micromanagement.
No Office Politics. No Bureaucracy. Office politics are evil. We hate them as much as you do.
Training Resources & Continual Development. Want to take a course to level up? Let us know. Continual learning is a core focus for all team members.
Growth opportunities:
Your career development will be supported in 3 primary ways at Vansburg:
1. Autonomy - your team leader defines the goal, you decide how to get there.
2. Learning - you will be given regular training and support for whatever else you want to learn.
3. Strength - we believe in maximizing your strengths rather than improving your weaknesses, so your role can be adjusted to leverage what youโre naturally good at.

You're excited about building something awesome with a highly skilled yet super playful team
Internet Game is inspired by innovative projects that combined social apps with gaming, like Pokemon Go and HQ Trivia. We take the highly social aspects of AAA games like Fortnite and apply them to casual games that anyone can play.
We launched as an experiment back in March 2022. 8000 players battled through 5 mini-games across 5 days, elimination-style (inspired by Squid Game). Those still in at the end won huge prizes.
Since then, we've raised $7M and expanded our fully-remote team to 18 people.
Now we're building out our platform to allow anyone to play our ever-growing library of mini-games.
Our mission is to create new ways for the world to play together.
Interested? We'd love to have you on board.

This job post is closed and the position is probably filled. Please do not apply. Work for LoanCrate and want to re-open this job? Use the edit link in the email when you posted the job!
What is LoanCrate?
We started LoanCrate to make home-buying simpler and less expensive for lenders and borrowers (us!). Today, mortgage lenders are stuck running their companies on software products built 20 years ago. These products are slow and unstable, and end up costing lenders millions of dollars in other otherwise preventable mistakes every year. LoanCrate solves those problems and more, helping lenders improve the home-buying experience for people all over the country.
Since starting in January 2021, our remote team has raised $9m, grown to 15 people, and launched our first product. And since adopting LoanCrate in June '21, our customers have used LoanCrate to power >$50 billion in new home loans. As a company, we're on track to be cash-flow positive in 2023.
Our team is a group of people excited to tackle the complexity of the home-lending industry. We care about collaboration, very open communication covering the good & the bad so that we learn from our decisions quickly, and ultimately having fun while we're building. You'll fit in well if you like diving deep quickly!
The opportunity
Our dreams are big and we have much to build! We're looking for senior software engineers to help lead our team in powering the future of home buying in the US (which could entail managing a majority of US home loans every year โ financial assets worth trillions of dollars).
We are excited to offer competitive salary and equity for this role.
What to expect
As an engineer at LoanCrate, you'll continue our team tradition by shipping code to production on your first day! Following that, within your first month, you'll dive into your first mission-critical project, such as...
๐ Architecting, building, and launching v2 of our no-code platform that our customers use to digitize their ops workflows and save millions of dollars per year.
๐ค Integrating with 3rd-party providers of lending services APIs to generate documents/disclosures, produce automated underwriting results, or prevent fraud.
๐ Architecting, building, and launching the next generation of our job processing infrastructure on AWS to make LoanCrate's back end more observable and reliable.
Tech stack
Nearly all of our code is written in TypeScript. We use React on the frontend, Node/Express on the backend (running inside Docker), GraphQL/Apollo on both sides, and Postgres as our database. We use AWS (ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, SNS, and more) and manage all of our infrastructure with Terraform.
We believe that high engineering velocity drives high product velocity (and, in turn, our success as a company ๐). Keeping this in mind, we've invested heavily in creating a great developer experience that enables engineers to ship fast. Some highlights of our stack:
โ๏ธ End-to-End Type Safety - We generate TypeScript types from our Postgres and GraphQL schemas so that when we change our database schema we see type errors in any incompatible frontend React components.
๐ Full-Stack Code Sharing - Our build tooling supports seamless sharing of TypeScript files between the client, server, and other packages in our mono-repo so that we never have to define functions or configuration values twice.
๐ Reproducible Infrastructure - Weโve used Terraform to manage 100% of our infrastructure since day 1 and have configured our CI pipeline to automatically deploy temporary staging environments for every pull request. We use these per-PR environments to get feedback from teammates and test any infrastructure changes using infrastructure that's identical to production.
๐งช First Class Testing Utilities - We have a comprehensive library of utilities that mock production-like data and feed automated end-to-end, integration, and performance tests. Our wide-ranging test suite allows us to move fast while maintaining nearly perfect uptime.
Preferred skills and background
(It's okay not to have all of these things - these are just some skills we are excited about!)
๐ A constant and keen eye for security risks โ we store and display some of people's most sensitive personal data and need to keep it safe!
๐จ A desire to be product-oriented, from thinking through the product implications of what you're building to contributing your unique ideas of how to improve the product.
๐๏ธ Ability to develop readable, maintainable, and effective software architecture patterns that support use of our product by various enterprise customers (each with thousands of employees and their own methods for running their companies).
๐ฉโ๐ซ๐จโ๐ซ Excitement to mentor less senior engineers in both hard and soft skills.
๐ SRE-oriented mindset for developing infrastructure that's reliable, observable, and requires minimal toil to maintain.
๐ฉ๏ธ Experience scaling high-throughput distributed systems in the cloud. Bonus points if you're experienced with infrastructure-as-code solutions like Terraform or CloudFormation!
๐ง Ability to develop full-stack web app features from design through deployment.
๐ข๏ธ Experience designing and scaling complex relational DB schemas, as well as figuring out performant ways to store, retrieve, and update such data. Home loans have thousands of data fields ๐.

Hello ๐ Weโre looking for a part-time full-stack software engineer to join us at Rephonic โ a B2B SaaS startup in the podcasting space with customers that include well-known companies like Google, HubSpot, TIME magazine, Penguin Random House and the BBC.
The role is part-time for 3 days per week but it could grow into a full-time role later (only if youโre open to that, no pressure).
This role is flexible and asynchronous (generally we donโt have meetings, standups or calls) so itโs perfect for a digital nomad, a new parent, or someone pursuing other interests or a side project. You can spread the hours throughout the week however you like.
Weโre headquartered in the UK but the company is fully remote and the team is spread all over the world.
Three years in, our mission is to build the best outreach and research database for podcasts. The goal is to model the entire podcast industry and that means collecting and organising a lot of disparate data and visualising it in a useful, friendly format.
You may also be working on our other product Reletter (itโs built on the same stack) and perhaps other apps in the future.
The Stack
You should have strong skills in at least one of either React or Python and be open to learning about any pieces that youโre missing from the list below.
React / Next.js
Python
Django
Elasticsearch
Redis
PostgreSQL
Docker
Ideally You Are
๐ A motivated self-starter whoโs comfortable working without too much day-to-day supervision
๐ง Someone who (at least occasionally!) listens to podcasts
๐ค A bit of data geek (we collect and transform a lot of it)
๐ฌ Comfortable working in a remote, asynchronous team environment with mostly chat-based communication
The Role
Youโll take responsibility for substantial parts of our development and ship new features from scratch.
Some examples of features you might build:
Figure out how to integrate podcasts uploaded to YouTube with our existing database
Build a "Google Trends for podcasts" tool using our data
A/B test changes to the onboarding flow in order to increase conversions
Requirements
3+ years of experience
Availability for at least 3 days per week (i.e. 3 x 8 hours, so 24 hours in total) but you can split and spread the hours throughout the week, however you like
Strong written English skills
This is a contract role so youโll need to be registered as a freelancer (or similar) and be able to issue invoices to the company
You use either Linux or macOS for your work
Remuneration
US $72,000 per year (for 3 days of work per week, equivalent to ~$120k full-time)
