As the Director of Marketplace Partnerships, you will lead, manage, and grow our advertising and affiliate merchant partnerships: building and nurturing relationships with leading online brands, driving revenue via new monetization programs, expanding through network/agency partners, and growing Affirmโs market position in this new space.\n\nYour role directly impacts top-priority, company-wide goals and will influence the long-term success of the organization. More importantly, you will help build this business line from the ground up, requiring creativity, grit, influence, and an ability to navigate ambiguity.\n\nWhat youโll do:\n\n\nGrow and lead our Marketplace Partnerships team and function across ad and affiliate sales and account management with a large emphasis on culture, coaching/mentoring, and driving results\n\nLead advertising and affiliate merchant partnerships, defining a winning sales strategy to meet our ambitious growth goals and maturing our account management function from ground up to grow performance and revenue for key merchant partnerships\n\nCollaborate closely with our Point-of-Sale Sales and Client Success teams on account planning and sales strategy \n\nLeverage affiliate/marketing networks to enable efficient growth (affiliate networks, agencies, and other marketing and e-commerce partners)\n\nIdentify, lead, and expand revenue-generating programs to expand monetization and deliver merchant performance \n\nRefine our GTM (pricing, packaging, toolkit) to evolve with our product maturity, merchant impact, and market needs\n\nRepresent Affirm at industry conferences and events as the expert on Affirmโs affiliate platform\n\n\n\n\nWhat we look for:\n\n\nA curious, entrepreneurial leader with plenty of grit, analytical prowess, creative thinking, and initiative, who has a deep understanding of - and empathy for - our merchantsโ needs\n\n10+ years of partnerships, business development, solution selling, management consulting or strategic operations with a digital product\n\n2+ years of management experience with strong interest in mentorship, coaching, and professional development\n\nMust have experience in the retail and e-commerce landscape\n\nHighly developed interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships both internally and with senior decision makers \n\nOutgoing team player excited to work cross-functionally and build relationships\n\n\n\n\nSeeks out new opportunities, drives projects, and navigates ambiguity with grace\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation - Remote U.S.\n\nGrade - USA52\n\n\nPlease note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.\n \n #LI-Remote\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
