\nVimeo is looking for an experienced content team lead with a strong track record of running high-volume editorial machines and growing a publication. \n\nReporting to the Director, SEO Content, the Managing Editor will lead and grow our new editorial content team, own the editorial execution for the Vimeo blog, and report regularly on blog performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and cross-team collaboration.\n\nThis role is ideal for a seasoned manager who knows how to manage and mentor \n\nWhat youโll do:\n\n\nManage a team of high-performing, in-house content marketers to create the best content on the internet for business professionals learning how to use video. You lead with candor, vision, and empathy, establishing a shared understanding of โgoodโ and setting ambitious, ownable goals for the team to work toward\n\nGrow a talent-dense editorial team of in-house editors, in-house writers, freelance writers, and other creative professionals and agencies. Your management experience makes you the ideal person to , deepening our bench and building relationships based on candor, trust, and empathy\n\nShape and own the content production process from pitch to publish, creating systems and processes that scale the teamโs output while pushing the bounds creatively. You understand what good writing looks like and have impeccable editing and proofreading skills.
