Remote Account Director Portfolio Lead CMS

Our team supports CMS in building and improving online public experiences and APIs that are reliable, accessible, and user-centered. We are deeply embedded within CMS, partnering agency-wide to include with the Office of Communications, Office of Enterprise Data and Analytics, Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services, and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. Our work includes helping millions of people enroll in healthcare and access Medicare and Medicaid benefits, as well as helping CMS improve the quality of Medicare and Medicaid services for beneficiaries and clinicians.\n\nUnder the supervision of the VP, CMS the Account Director is responsible for management, oversight, and growth for a portfolio of Ad Hocโs newer accounts, and the teams that support them.\n\nRequirements\n\n\nOur Federal contracts require that you be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for employment.\n\nAll work must be conducted within the U.S.\n\nAs a government contractor, all hires may be required to meet additional pre-employment contingencies to the extent required by applicable law, at the time of hire or any time thereafter\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will do\n\nDelivery\n\n\nManaging multiple programs that deliver digital services in a portfolio of accounts\n\nManaging a multi-million dollar P&L for multiple programs with multiple subcontractors\n\nResponsible for program profitability and financial forecasting as it relates to P&L management\n\nProviding expertise in technology project and program management\n\nCoaching and mentoring project and program managers\n\nIdentifying and implementing strategies to maximize resource use and availability tracking across programs\n\nCreating organizational structures & processes to support delivery\n\nAccountable for overall client satisfaction\n\nPromoting efficiency across the portfolio of programs\n\nEnsuring that appropriate information sharing occurs across programs\n\nRepresenting the portfolio as part of the Leadership Team\n\n\n\n\n \n\nGrowth and Business Development\n\n\nContributing to decisions on pipeline priorities, and supporting opportunities through business capture process\n\nResponsible for setting strategic direction and organic growth priorities for portfolio of programs\n\nSecuring contract modifications for portfolio of programs\n\nDeveloping organic growth with current or adjacent customers\n\nIdentifying and leading opportunities for organic growth within portfolio of programs\n\nIdentifying and helping qualify formal opportunities for growth within portfolio of programs\n\nIdentifying key capabilities and approach on programs to add to Ad Hoc capabilities / approaches\n\nProviding input into company-wide strategy and key objectives as part of the Leadership Team\n\nSupporting growth team on new opportunities and initiatives\n\nLeading efforts to develop scope and delivery labor mapping on pricing activities within their sphere of influence\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat you will bring\n\n\nDeep subject matter expertise on CMS policy, program operations, and issues and ability to apply that knowledge to anticipate issues/enhance solutions for the federal government, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrates experience with federal contracting, contract management, and work as a subcontractor.\n\nLeads strategic change related to organizational goals, both internally and externally\n\nDriven by results, both in terms of meeting organizational goals and customer expectations\n\nProven leadership skills and the ability to manage a large team successfully, particularly in terms of leading others towards meeting the organization's mission and goals while providing an inclusive and positive work environment\n\nBusiness acumen related to human, financial, and information resource management\n\nCoalition building skills, including the ability to develop networks and alliances with partners\n\nPolitical savvy and awareness of and ability to respond to operating environment\n\nAbility to build consensus and negotiate strategically to drive results\n\nExcellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills\n\nExcellent written and oral communication skills\n\nQualified candidates will have a minimum 8 years of overall work experience\n\nQualified candidates will have a minimum 3 years in Government, Civil Service, or their dedicated discipline\n\n\n\n\nBenefits\n\n\nCompany-subsidized Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance\n\nVanguard 401K Plan\n\nUnlimited Vacation\n\nContinuing Education/Annual Conference Attendance Stipend\n\n\n\n\nAd Hoc LLC is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
