As the People Operations Generalist at CDI, you’ll play a key role in rapidly expanding our team by supporting the organization through all stages of the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. You’ll also manage our HR systems, from benefits administration to onboarding and offboarding, and continually refine processes as we grow.
In addition to these core responsibilities, you’ll help plan and execute our biannual team retreats and other team-building activities that are integral to our culture. Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Lead multiple job searches simultaneously, while ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience. Support hiring managers by designing interview processes, coordinating communication, and managing the hiring workflow from posting to offer.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Oversee the full onboarding and offboarding experience, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and exiting employees. Continuously refine these processes and their associated documentation.
Employee Benefits Administration: Act as the primary administrator for employee benefits. Regularly assess and recommend new benefits based on employee feedback and market trends.
Employee Handbook & HR Policies: Update, disseminate and maintain internal HR policies and the Employee Handbook. Ensure all policies are clear and accessible to employees.
Performance, Engagement & Culture Initiatives: Lead performance and engagement programs, including CDI’s twice-annual in-person team gatherings and team-building activities. Champion efforts to maintain and strengthen company culture and feedback cycles.
Payroll & HR Systems Management: Manage payroll through our PEO (JustWorks), ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing. Oversee other HR systems (like Leapsome), ensuring their effective use in tracking employee progress, feedback, and engagement.
Qualifications
3+ years of general HR/People Operations experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience in recruiting and talent acquisition, such as sourcing, interviewing, and managing the hiring process.
Exceptional project management skills, with proven experience managing multiple priorities and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to convey ideas clearly and concisely in writing.
Process-oriented, with a knack for streamlining workflows and making systems more efficient.
Self-starter; works autonomously and takes initiative.
Passionate about creating positive candidate and employee experiences.
Sound judgment and professionalism, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HR policies, employment laws, and ethical standards.
Knowledgeable about HR best practices across onboarding, engagement, retention, benefits, and recruiting.

I don't see why anyone would pay for what this startup does. You can easily build this yourself in 2 hours but serverless by double-dipping NextJS, Tailwind, Jest, Gatsby, Enzyme and Webpack on top of Kubernetes in a Docker VM on AWS.
