We are looking for an articulate, creative and visual problem solver to join our product team. Although mostly product focused, you will also help over-see and steer elements of the brand including online marketing/sales pages and interactive experiences while working hand in hand with the development team.

Responsibilities:

  • QA and troubleshooting for development, support and bug fixing
  • Define new features and functionality from initial ideation through to prototyping and implementation
  • Work closely with engineering to ensure features are implemented according to original specifications while considering existing user behaviour, experience and expectations
  • Maintain a roadmap of features to ensure platform improvements are as future proof as possible
  • Contribute to development of branding, online interactive UX and design
  • Present and share concepts, prototypes and wireframes with the Head of Product, clearly articulating rationale, implications and dependencies
  • Recreate real-world scenarios to aid in building use/test cases when comparing data providers or implementing platform wide changes

How you'll work:

  • Diving into the product on all fronts to gain expert knowledge on how we serve our clients
  • Caring deeply about user experience, with an emphasis on ease of use and the simplification of complex ideas and workflows
  • Be open to rapid changes and fast paced development of ideas
  • Participate in workshops with Support and Community teams to gain unique insights into our users and the challenges we help them overcome
  • Using a mix of Miro, Webflow, Photoshop (or design tool of your choice), you’ll create clear visuals to demonstrate your ideas
  • Deliver product and web designs with polish and attention to detail. Constantly developing the look and feel across the business.

The offer:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Full-time Payroll or monthly invoice (No preference)
  • Mostly/fully remote with occasional travel to the Manchester (UK) office as and when required
  • Flexible working hours and autonomy
  • Travel and Tickets covered for attending industry events
  • Company MacBook and Stationary budget
  • 25 days paid vacation per year plus national holidays

Nice

I don't see why anyone would pay for what this startup does. You can easily build this yourself in 2 hours but serverless by double-dipping NextJS, Tailwind, Jest, Gatsby, Enzyme and Webpack on top of Kubernetes in a Docker VM on AWS.
