I’m Zarul Nazli Zulkhurnain, a designer based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Trained initially as an industrial designer and later as a graphic designer, I began my career at a brand consultancy. At that time, the focus was on brand guidelines, logo creation, and flash websites. Terms like “UX” or “UI” didn’t exist; we were known as multimedia or web designers. Since the start of my career, I’ve been involved in branding projects and have been responsible for delivering multimedia content across both print and digital platforms. Additionally, I have worked as a videographer on the side, creating short documentaries. Currently, I work for a leading global insurance company as part of their APAC team. I am responsible for UX discovery and assist the IT team in identifying service touchpoints for insurance products deployed in Australia, Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia.
