I'm a passionate Software Engineer with a strong background in Python development and a focus on AI and computer vision. My journey started as a Java developer, but I soon delved into Perl projects and eventually transitioned to Python, which has become my primary language. Over the years, I have also worked on projects involving Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frontend development.

While I have gained valuable experience in various programming languages, my true passion lies in the field of AI and computer vision. I have successfully worked on image processing and face recognition projects, leveraging Python's powerful capabilities. These projects have given me a solid foundation in AI, and I'm determined to further expand my expertise in this exciting field.

Currently, I'm a Software Engineer at Rippling, where I have been involved in globalizing our product and refactoring it for international use. I have had the opportunity to work with technologies such as Python, MongoDB, Django, and pytest, sharpening my skills in these areas.

Prior to that, I was a Software Engineer at Gangverk/Sling, where I had the chance to integrate external tools and business clients with our employee management product, Sling. Additionally, I took on the challenge of developing a machine learning project to analyze the signup funnel, using Python, Flask, Postgresql, pytest, TensorFlow, and pandas.

During my time as a Senior Principal Software Specialist at Intive, I led both internal and commercial Machine Learning projects. This included working on exciting projects such as face detection, face recognition, fraud detection, and generating package artworks. These experiences allowed me to gain hands-on expertise with Python, MTCNN, Inception ResNet, and Facenet.

To complement my practical experience, I hold a Master's degree in Informatics with a specialty in Graphics and Multimedia from the Technical University of Szczecin. My Master's thesis, titled "Face recognition based on 3D generated models from a single face shot," explored the fascinating world of computer vision.

In addition to my technical skills, I possess a wide range of programming languages, including Python, Go, JavaScript, Java, and Perl. I am familiar with frameworks such as Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, and have worked with databases like Postgresql. Version control with Git, Git flow, and Git trunk based is second nature to me.

While AI and computer vision are my areas of focus, I also have experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and PHP. I'm always excited to explore new tools and technologies and apply them to create robust and efficient solutions.

Outside of work, I have had the opportunity to share my knowledge and insights as a presenter at DevCroud.
