I’m Maria, a multilingual professional with over six years of experience in creative project management, content creation, and tourism.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation (English & Brazilian Portuguese, 2013) and have been based in Tokyo since 2013. Originally from Santiago, Chile, and raised in Brazil, I bring a global perspective and a strong understanding of cross-cultural communication.

Since 2019, I’ve been actively involved in the tourism industry, specializing in planning and coordinating travel experiences while supporting itineraries and communication strategies for international clients in a B2B setting. from 2022 to 2025 I took charge of a key-agent in Canada and exponentially grew their business and sales with the Japanese DMC, also fortifying their relationship.

Previously, I worked in Language and Communications, developing ESL curricula for a national after-school program in Japan for three years. I later took on the role of Associate Project Manager and Creative Director at a 3D solutions enterprise, leading collaboration between international remote teams (Malaysia, Canada, USA, Portugal) and the Tokyo headquarters. My focus was on improving communication flow, streamlining processes, and ensuring all projects were delivered on time.
