I am tilak Parewa, a Development Professional, writing to you to express my interest in working with your organization. . I am a post-graduate in regulatory governance from tata institute of social sciences. I have a total work experience of 5+ years in the social sector. I am proficient in English, Hindi, and Marwari. I have a hands-on experience in handling national and state level projects, monitoring, implementation, convergence, documentation, and social media content optimization.
Presently, I am working with PricewaterhouseCoopers on regulatory policy consultant as an Associate in Gurugram, Haryana. My primary role is to provide technical expertise to the managing director and supportive supervision and monitoring in regulatory and policy related matters to other directors (finance, operation, and monitoring). I monitor the progress made towards indicators as specified under regulatory and policy affairs which are petition reply, regulatory commission hearings, promotion of new and renewable energy, fuel surcharge assessment and power purchase related matters as we as promotion of government schemes through Discomโs at ground level for the consumers like PM Kusum scheme and others. My role also includes delivering to handle effective regulatory and policy approach and strengthen grievance resolution mechanism.
I have also worked with NIDS-SATYA as a Program manager. I worked closely with the district administrations in Jaipur, Rajasthan monitoring the implementation of Jal Jeevan mission under the Department of Jal shakti ministry and PHED Rajasthan. I extensively worked on community institution formations such as Self- help Groups, Village Level Federations and Farmer Producer Organization, social and financial inclusion, women empowerment, skill development of the youth through convergence and fresh water related awareness program. I was also participating the business development activities to bring new projects in the organization to move forward like proposal writing, proposal bid, stakeholder management and client management.
I worked with Tata Trusts (The India Nutrition Initiative) in the capacity of a District Lead in Dausa and Banswara, Rajasthan. I worked in close coordination with Integrated Child Development Services and directly reported to the District Collector and Deputy Director-ICDS. My role included monitoring of the National Nutrition Mission, a flagship scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development to combat malnutrition in India by extensively focusing on the reduction in stunting, wasting, low birth weight and anemia. I rigorously worked at the grassroots and interacted with the target population that consisted of children below 6 years of age, pregnant women, lactating mothers and adolescents, ASHA and Anganwadi workers. I worked extensively on the components of the mission: convergence with the in-line departments, behavioral change, incremental learning approach, growth monitoring, community-based events, innovations in the nutrition domain and data analysis. I liaison with various government departments and organizations to facilitate the activities and components under the mission.
I also worked with the Government of India on a different Mission, Swachh Bharat Mission. It was one of the flagship schemes of the Government. Through my work I ensured that the district was declared Open defecation free and behavioral change was induced for open defecation. My work has also been appreciated and acknowledged by the Ministry of drinking water and Sanitation. My experiences have given me an opportunity to work with the Indian government officials and the State Officials like District Collector, IAS, and other key officials of the line departments like ICDS, health, education, Panchayati raj, rural development, PHED, to name a few.
While pursuing my post-graduate degree at the tata institute of social sciences, Mumbai. I had worked extensively on some of the major regulation & policy areas. I did primary research on โIndiaโs Beef and International Trade: Estimation of Revealed Comparative Advantageโ with IIFT WTO center at Delhi. I did My dissertation thesis as well on The Performance of the Solar Sector in India: - Comparison of Rajasthan and Gujarat Model. During my masters, I gained knowledge and insights in disciplines like Public Policy and Advocacy, Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, Regulatory Economics, and other relevant subjects with the specialization in Water, Food and Electricity and Micro-Finance. Apart from these core subjects I have studies foundation courses in social development, gender studies, Environment studies et al.
During my graduation I studied subjects of business administration and management. My work with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Prashesh, Jharkhand, and Haryana has also given me exposure of governance budgeting, and project financial management.
