Ever since I saw the movie Die Hard 4, I wanted to become a hacker. That fueled my drive to do Engineering in Computers. While doing engineering, I learned about how much there is to learn. I started off with C, moving onto Java, SQL, database design, algorithms, python, js, etc. But I always felt the need for a good feedback loop, so I started teaching programming. Turns out I was a good speaker and a teacher and taught various things to 200+ students over a year.

After I graduated, I joined Reliance Jio as an assistant manager and I was responsible for manual testing of the whole suite of jio apps, wherein I initially found major bugs in their ott platform and hardware and later on managed a team of 8 QA testers.

But after all this, I wanted a career in engineering, so I decided to move on and started freelancing, open-source contributions, and remote contract work.

My last gig was Lead frontend engineer at The Pod Corporation, where I was making the frontend of the MVP for their SaaS product.

Currently, I'm working with Proximity Labs, with ESPN as my client, migrating their 15-year-old Cricinfo site to a newer stack that gets millions of concurrent users.

My specialties: ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, SQL, Firebase, GraphQL
