Hi, I'm a software engineer living in the Los Angeles area with extensive experience building full-stack applications in the Cloud (AWS). My primary languages are Typescript/Javascript, Python, Go, and Kotlin/Java. I deeply understand React.js and have experience with both NOSQL (DynamoDB) and SQL (Postgres) databases. However, for the last few years I've taken more of DevOps/SRE role working with complex, distributed systems utilizing network protocols such as REST and gRPC. I've deployed services to EC2, Lambda, ECS, and Kubernetes, created VPCs, and set up autoscaling groups and deployment pipelines. I have worked with both CloudFormation and Terraform (I much prefer Terraform). I have an (expired) Solution Architect Associate certificate as well as a Security Professional certificate from AWS.
