Harouna holds a PhD in applied mathematics and deep learning for genomics at National Engineering School of Tunis, in collaboration with Institut Pasteur of Tunis. He is currently working as a genomic data scientist at the African Centre of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Diseases (ACEGID), Ede, Nigeria.
