Currently working with Treelife Consulting as a Finance Associate. The company is involved in providing consulting services to startup businesses in the finance, legal and compliance aspects thus providing a holistic approach to the clients involved. Within this role, I got the opportunity to work on preparation of pitch decks for fundraising startups, performing financial due diligence for investors looking to invest in startups, performing research on various RBI, Income-tax, FEMA, Companies Act regulations impacting businesses and understanding their implications, externalisation or flipping the structure, preparation of Captable pre and post investment, FDI and ODI investment, LRS guidelines and many other financial transactions.

First job as a fresher was working with Morgan Stanley in the Fund Services division, responsible for providing accounting solutions to hedge funds and clients based in the U.S. Additionally, the division managed the portfolio on a daily basis along with monthly and quarterly compliance requirements, preparation of internal quality reports required by hedge fund managers. The vital part of the role included preparation of investor statements and allocation of income to hedge fund investors on a monthly basis. I worked on new issue income allocation, management fee and incentive fee calculations, GAV and NAV finalisation, hurdled and modified HWM and ensured regular liaisoning with account managers in the U.S for efficient portfolio finalisation and resolving of issues.

Educational qualification - Chartered Accountant, qualified in 2017. Bachelors in Accounting & Finance from N.M College of Commerce and Economics in Mumbai. Pursuing Chartered Financial Analyst (US) Course - Level 2.
