Currently working as a DevOps evangelist and lead, I've been a backend wiz and software developer for more than 5 years now. I started my career as a tech founder of my own startup - a food tech - where I worked full-stack, from the android app to the REST backend to CI/CD and deployment on GCP.

Following best practices and development practices, I'm a follower of Kent Beck and Martin Fowler with a unique perspective on problem solving; I like to get my hands dirty with any language, framework or library I use. I don't shy away from reading others' code (once had to go through Kubernetes source code for their e2e tests) and I like to write well-written documented code.

I don't hesitate to learn anything new and like to add more skills and tech to my toolbox; the likes of GraphQL, Solidity, Rust etc. I'm passionate about Open-source and giving back to the community, constantly looking to build reusable solutions, like my LFX project working on Chaos Mesh Kubernetes operator, and twice GSoC in Videolan and CERN-HSF.

At my previous roles, I championed the adoption of Kubernetes, replacing legacy services with modern K8s Deployments. I believe in efficiency of automation, to that end I've brought in GitOps for Infra resources, using Argo and Pulumi K8s operator, along with re-usable github CI/CD workflows for all services. In my current role, I've also led the development of Internal Dev portal (IDP) as a self-service platform for devs to manage, monitor and modify their services' configurations. My expertise in observability, utilizing tools like Prometheus, Datadog, and the ELK stack, ensures reliable engineering practices. Additionally, my commitment to security is evident in implementing Kubernetes security policies with Kyverno and utilizing CIS Hardened images.
