I attended Belmont University majoring in songwriting. I have written hundreds of songs as well as poems and a few children's books. I haven't aways loved writing, but I am quite gifted. My favorite part of writing, especially when writing a song, is the process. I love the creative process. It is the only work I truly enjoy doing. The feeling I get when I am on a really good flow of ideas and the words just start pouring out of me is like a high. I have a lot of interests. Music is at the top of the list. I also enjoy reading, learning and building things out of wood.
