Hi! I'm Santiago, an infrastructure engineer based in Montevideo with 3+ years of experience operating mission-critical airline systems at Sabre, one of the world's largest GDS providers.
I've worked across the full reliability stack — multi-cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP, Terraform, observability, PCI DSS compliance, and coordinating teams across time zones when things go wrong. I've learned a lot doing it. I've also learned what kind of work actually energizes me: building systems that are more predictable, automating what shouldn't be manual, and collaborating with people who care about doing things right.
