Over the course of the last 13+ years I have developed an expansive skill set of tools in the Human Resource function with a variety of roles in headquarter and field positions. While with Schlumberger I built strong partnerships with executives while working in headquarter positions as well as close relationships with Field Service Managers and Engineers while in the field. I was responsible for recruiting and working with 3rd party recruiting agencies to staff field operations, conducting investigations, and guiding managers through developing and providing feedback to their employees. I became competent in employment law and company policy while working as an HR Compliance Analyst and Specialist supporting HR Managers around the US as they managed their teams and operations. I was responsible for learning a new employee tracking system and bonus distribution program to deploy to field operations. I owned change management for these projects and overcame resistance while training managers and HR personnel on the new systems.

During my time with Amazon, I have dug into HR and operations metrics to better understand how to drive and improve performance through measurable actions. Two specific projects that I identified and saw to fruition focused on manager development improving the site level metric by 28% and the regional performance by 23% over a 4-month period. I additionally partnered with operations to develop and administer development plans around employee sentiment. This effort saw a turnaround of these scores at the site and 20% overall improvement, with sustained high-level performance. I have continued to build strong partnerships with senior operations leadership and have emerged as a trusted advisor for managers on ways to develop the leaders that report to them. I have expanded my abilities to help other HR professionals grow as a manager for as many as 10 hourly or salaried HR team members. I have been able to guide and assist several of them to promote into positions of higher responsibility.
