I have been a costume supervisor for film and television for the last 20 years. I manage costume departments and ensure everyone has what they need to do their jobs within our department while making sure all tasks are complete on time. I am also responsible for the scheduling, the hiring and the budget. I implement systems that can be shared across the department and the entire production in regards to the scheduling of costume fittings, arrivals of goods needed, staffing, getting information to payroll. I oversee that we are doing all of these things in a timely and budget efficient manner whilst still allowing the costume designers and actors to have the creative space that they need and feel supported.
