I am a seasoned program lead, operations manager, and skilled Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist with expertise in data management and analysis, I have successfully led various programs, monitoring, evaluation and learning functions on multiple donor-funded projects across different thematic sectors in Nigeria. These sectors include SMEs, startup, Maternal, Newborn, Child Health and Nutrition; Family Planning and Reproductive Health (RH); MSME, Education, Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, OVC, youth, and Emergency Response.
In my roles, I have developed robust quantitative and qualitative research methods and data collection techniques (both offline and online), and provided leadership in routine data management operations. This includes supporting timely data collection and entry, ensuring data quality at all data points, processing, cleaning, analysis, and managing project databases, M&E plan/systems, M&E specific documents, project indicator performance tracking templates, data collection matrix, data analysis maps, and research protocols. I have also developed project qualitative analysis plans and maps, supported the development of a third-party monitoring flagging system, and co-facilitated the training of field monitors on designed data collection instruments. Additionally, I have provided remote monitoring support/supervision of field enumerators via interactive database systems.
My in-depth knowledge of statistical methods, formative, summative developmental, and additive evaluation designs, qualitative and quantitative research methods, data collection and management has been an added advantage. I have also developed database structures and features according to organizational needs, and I am currently an Andela SQL engineer.
Furthermore, I have successfully led activities supporting HMIS strengthening, ensuring timely data compilation and reporting, overseeing data migration and reconstruction efforts, and supervising periodic data quality audits. I have designed and implemented security procedures related to data input, sharing, and viewing by HMIS participating agencies. I have also evaluated and incorporated new data science tools and methods into organizational processes and systems, resulting in more efficient and effective data collection and analysis. Overall, my expertise in strengthening DQA processes and tools, analyzing M&E data, and ensuring adequate reporting data has made a significant impact on the success of different projects.
