2016 - 2025: Designed and implemented an immersive 2nd and 4th-grade science and math curriculum aligned with NGSS and Indiana Academic Standards, resulting in improvement in student engagement and comprehension. Integrated technology into the classroom to accommodate diverse learning needs, enhancing student participation and meeting organizational progressive education goals. Led as logistic and instructional project manager for community-wide events, successfully coordinating and executing 2+ events per academic year, increasing community engagement. Utilized Human Centered Design Process to implement progressive teaching practices and project-based learning, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students. Served as the 4th-grade math lead, providing team support around scope, sequence, and scheduling of 7 units of interactive math lessons for up to 55 students.
2008 - 2010: 1. Conducted budget analysis for three prototype After School programs in Indianapolis, identifying cost-saving opportunities and reallocating resources to enhance program effectiveness. 2. Analyzed 105 leaking underground storage tanks in Marion County, IN, and recommended five changes to the Marion Country Underground Water Protection Ordinance to reduce environmental contamination and improved water quality standards. 3. Developed a comprehensive marketing plan for Joy's House, an adult care facility, increasing brand visibility and attracting clients. 4. Coordinated a fund development plan for Touching Tiny Lives Foundation, an orphan care program in Lesotho, to increase donations, funding support and expand essential services for orphaned children. 5. Devised a communications audit and developed a volunteer communication and retention plan for Agape Therapeutic Riding Center, improving volunteer engagement and retention rates, leading to enhanced program sustainability.
2001 - 2003: I served the United States Peace Corps in the Kingdom of Lesotho. I served as a training advisor to handicraft cooperatives. I also held responsibilities to promote the education and awareness of HIV/AIDS, health and nutrition, sustainable agriculture, recycling techniques, and computer technology training.
1996 - 2000: 1. Conducted comprehensive Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) field studies in various locations including Reno, NV, Fort McCoy, WI, and Whitefish Bay, MI, utilizing advanced geospatial techniques to assess subsurface conditions and inform resource management decisions. 2. Presented GPR results at professional conferences and seminars in Eau Claire, WI, Pittsburg, PA, Missoula, MT, and Queensland, Australia, showcasing expertise in data interpretation and effectively communicating findings to diverse audiences. 3. Developed and implemented sustainable land reclamation plans, incorporating best practices and environmental conservation principles, resulting in improved resource conservation and reduced ecological impact. 4. Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to analyze and assess resource management strategies, leveraging cross-functional expertise to identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
