In my previous role as the database administrator at Tangaza University, I was responsible for all administrative tasks related to database management. I also developed software and provided user ICT support, training, and assistance to staff, students, and lecturers in using the institution's systems. Additionally, I handled issues with the institution's website.

I would like to highlight my recent projects, which include setting up and configuring everything on a Contabo cloud server running Ubuntu. This involved various technologies such as Python for cronjob automation and a backoffice API, PHP, Node.js for concurrency, NGinX as a reverse proxy, OpenLiteSpeed for SSL certificates and domain server, and LAMP stack with both PostgreSQL and MariaDB. I also implemented end-to-end messaging encryption using AI-powered help desk and chat bot, utilized Redis and RabbitMQ, set up a mail server, and integrated M-Pesa (mobile money) and credit card processing gateways. Additionally, I have experience with user tracking, CRM, and ERP systems.

My skillset includes proficiency in languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL. I am experienced in DevOps engineering and SCRUM methodology. I have worked with various databases including MySQL, MongoDB, MSSQL Server, Cassandra, Firebase, SQLite, and Google Big Table. I am well-versed in development frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Sinatra, Django, Flask, CodeIgniter, and WordPress. I also have expertise in web and app servers like Apache and Amazon Cloud. Furthermore, I am skilled in graphic and web design using tools such as Corel Draw, Adobe Suite, Blender 3D, and Inkscape. I am also knowledgeable in DevOps, CI&CD, CSS styling, and Bootstrap engineering.



In terms of handling sensitive data, I strictly adhere to all relevant policies and procedures in the workplace. I use secure methods of communication, ensure secure storage and proper disposal of sensitive information, and maintain appropriate discretion when discussing sensitive topics.
