I'm good at translation, using computers in general, the internet, Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel, and computer software troubleshooting. I'm passionate about continuous improvement and excel at linking concepts together, which distinguishes me in translation and interpretation. I don't accept information at face value without validating it first. This analytical approach helps me use CAT Tools and machine translation efficiently, as it becomes easier to identify when they make mistakes, and take notes effectively in consecutive interpretation by ensuring I fully understand the context of what I'm listening to. As the first blind graduate from the Credit Hours program, English Department, Interpreters section, I've demonstrated my commitment to breaking barriers and achieving excellence. My expertise with CAT Tools was cemented through training at Nefrt in September 2023, followed by courses at the faculty in Matecat (2024) and Trados Studio (2025). I'm skilled at understanding context from what I listen to, which makes me distinct in the field of interpretation. I'm also comfortable presenting in front of audiences, whether working alone or as part of a group. I've been working as a volunteer English into Arabic Translator and Proofreader at MEE6 for more than 2 years, translating the Discord bot and dashboard interfaces. I learned essential office skills through ICDL training provided by the Faculty of Computer Science and the center for disabled student services at Ain Shams University. I developed computer troubleshooting skills through a software troubleshooting course at the National Academy in Smart Village in 2021. I learned the fundamentals of networking, Python, Windows and Linux servers, and gained background knowledge in cloud computing as part of the first batch of the Empower Abilities program by Dell Technologies (June-December 2024). I received the highest technical improvement trophy during this program. In my free time, I enjoy reading about technology, expanding my knowledge in this field, and connecting with interesting people.
