My name is Mohamed Rekik and I am a Machine Learning and Computer Vision Engineer.

I have worked on almost all the common topics in Computer Vision including Image Processing, Image Classification, Object Localization, Object Detection, Key-points Detection (like human-pose estimation) Instance/Semantic Segmentation, Optical Character Recognition (OCR), etc... I have also worked on deploying models on the web and on the edge (android/iOS apps, Jetson cards).

I have also worked on a few other things like Route Optimization/Planning, AutoEncoders, Sentiment Analysis with NLP, Compressive Sensing, Time-Series Forecasting, and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).

Almost all my projects were built in a professional frame and were delivered to a large number of users for commercial use. Part of my experience was in the engineering area and the other part in the research area.

I have experienced remote working for almost 2 years and it was a great success. I have also experienced working in several different countries (Germany, Oman, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia) and adapting to different cultures.

I believe that learning is a lifelong process and learning on daily basis is a must to catch the rapid evolution of technology. That's why I developed a passion for learning that could make me in permanent growth.
