Remote worker with 11+ years of experience - Last seen 2 years ago

The last 8 years I have been involved in wide array of IT-projects in positions ranging from Product Owner, Project Manager, Epic Owner to Business Analyst and Staffing Expert. I am now looking for a remote position as I would like to travel more while working. After reading the job description I am thoroughly conviced I can be the right man for the job. I have managed large corporate projects as well as a variety of smaller projects with stakeholders across a lot of different sectors such as banking, public institutions, public transport, tech agencies,... Projects include technical implementations in both infrastructure and development.

In project management, besides the obvious focus on scope, timing and budget I believe it is integral to creat teams that are committed and feel cared for. To explain how I go about that part of project management I like to use the metaphor of 3 roles combined:
- Roadie: make sure everything that is not important for developers, analysts, UX designers,... is solved so they can focus only on performing and making sure the goal is clear to them
- Orchestrator: make sore it is clear what we are working to with the least amount of unclarity as possible. Trust is the consequence of clarity and predictability.
- Coach: making sure that people are listened to and coached towards a positive evolution in the job and hopefully in the job as well.

I am able to do this in English, Dutch & French and with a strong focus on delivery through a people and client centric view.
