Hi! I am Marika. I am a qualified teacher, currently in my 12th year of teaching. I completed a Bachelors in Education, Honors in Language Education and Masters in Remedial Literacy.

I have a passion for research, writing and sharing new ideas, and all the better if it can be presented in a creative and visually stimulating way.

Building relationships with co-workers, parents and managers has been an important part of my professional path.

The year 2020 turned teaching upside down and forced us to be creative, supportive and innovative in the world of remote work, and later also turning hybrid.

I see myself as an adaptable person, keen to learn new ways to be effective and support others in their quest to bring their ideas to life in images and words.

I hope to start up a freelancing side-hustle whilst still teaching, organically growing into full time remote work.
I would like to focus on creative writing - thus blogging, speech writing or any content creation is exciting. I am also open to being a virtual assistant, completing the 90 day VA course to help me on my path to supporting business owners.
