Linda E. Maurice is Director, Lifelong Learning at the Nova Southeastern University (NSU) Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine (KPCOM). In this role she manages all aspects of the NSU Lifelong Learning Institute, a renowned community entity serving the educational needs of South Florida older adults since 1977. From 2018 – 2021 her role also included managing and promoting all KPCOM high school medical immersion programs, including the University School affiliated fellowship program, the AIM-High and Higher summer camp programs, and the Medical Explorers Club for (mostly) underserved young adults in Broward County.

Linda gained extensive experience in her more than 30-year professional career in public speaking, public relations, marketing and television news production in her early career with prestigious international news organizations including the National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC - New York, NY); Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC – Jerusalem, Israel); Cable News Network
(CNN – Jerusalem, Israel). She also worked as a media training consultant (Israeli Foreign Ministry, Jerusalem, Israel) as well as in marketing and advertising production with The Jerusalem Report magazine (Jerusalem, Israel).

Linda holds a bachelor degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern University. At NSU, she has participated in leadership seminars, human resource employee development workshops on emotional intelligence, influencing and conflict management; community seminars including receiving FEMA CERT (community emergency response team) certification, Broward Coalition on Aging – Conference on Professional Excellence. Linda sits on the board of the BSO affiliated “TRIAD” organization which addresses the security and related needs of the local older adult population. She is also on the LEARN (Lifetime Education and Renewal) constituent group for the national organization, the American Society on Aging, is a peer reviewer for ASA conference submissions, and has presented at their annual Aging in America Conference since 2014.
