Hi there,
I am a freelance web developer currently based in Japan sharpening my skills & knowledge to create better products each day!

My journey started with PHP and Wordpress and I still have many clients whose websites are based on Wordpress, but these days I specialise mostly in front-end development with React. Due to this I call myself a "front-end developer", but with each year the line between front-end and back-end slowly fades and due to it I have much experience in back-end as well.

Apart from React, my main focus has become serverless solutions, like GatsbyJS, NextJS or Svelte as I believe this is the future of the web and offers countless advantages over solutions like Wordpress. Many of my clients have already done the switch and enjoyed especially the performance improvements. Please reach out to me anytime if you would like to make the switch too!

A little bit of background about myself, although I have only recently started working on Upwork, I have been a freelancer for several years and have had several clients in the past. I am fluent in English and German, and also speak basic Japanese (currently ~N3 level). Most of my time, I spend in Japan and am available on the Japanese time zone. The culture and uniqueness of this country makes me come back again and again!
