As an educator of 10 years, I understand the importance of lifelong learning and how effective communication and collaboration are significant to success. My passion for learning was recently put to the test during my training in the Le Wagon web development bootcamp. Going through this program allowed me to view the world from a different perspective. As I collaborated with classmates daily to solve challenges and create web apps with the end user in mind, it opened my eyes to how community-oriented programming plays such a huge role in the desired outcome.

Through a generous amount of self-study, formal accelerated training in the Le Wagon web development bootcamp, and ongoing learning through the Skillcrush frontend & UX/UI programs, my web development journey is well-rounded. My foundation in programming includes a diverse and promising technical skill set such as Ruby, Ruby on Rails, SQL, OOP, MVC, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Stimulus, Git, and more.

Prior to my interest in coding, my many years of international teaching provided me with extensive practice in effectively collaborating and communicating in a professional environment among other valuable soft skills. My eagerness and determination to continue learning and strengthening my problem-solving and critical-thinking skills have encouraged me to embark on a new career journey in the tech field.

Living in South Korea, Oman, Egypt, Armenia, and Ukraine (to name a few) has shaped my ability to adapt to many different situations and to build cross-cultural communication skills. With an M.Ed in Literacy, a BSc in Interdisciplinary Studies, and my qualifications in web development, I am a highly educated and driven individual.
