Motivated developer, mentor, and learner eager to expand and apply knowledge in programming, networking, distributed systems, microservices, and cloud and edge systems. I am highly interested in cloud, mobile, content distribution, and MANET networks, and have a passion for distributed system experimentation, optimization, design, visualization, and troubleshooting. My motivation for this work has always been to improve the user experience, doing so by increasing the resiliency, responsiveness, and efficiency of apps and the network. My expertise is in network emulation, application layer messaging middleware, such as ZeroMQ and MQTT, containerization and orchestration platforms, such as Docker and Kubernetes, and transport protocols, such as TCP, UDP, and QUIC. Additionally, I am excited by the opportunity to work with and become more knowledgeable on web services, such as HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, HTTP/3, and webRTC, routing protocols, such as BGP, OSPF, and OLSR, security, SDNs, link protocols, such as Ethernet, LLDP, and 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, virtual networks, and NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB, Redis, Neo4J, Neptune, GraphDB, and NebulaGraph.

Mentorship, communication, collaboration, and DEI are other passions of mine and I am always looking for creative, new, ways to work with and alongside others and promote inclusion and belonging.
