I am a part time postdoctoral research associate at a German University, working on sustainability research projects relating to food-water-energy innovations, sustainability practices of Small and Medium sized enterprises. I have research expertise in multi-actor learning in contexts of resilience and wider sustainability challenges of stressed environments and communities such as climate disadvantage and social injustice. I am interested in pathways towards transformative futures, particularly around aspects of resilience and consciousness.
I am the founder and director of an ethical start up that embraces circular economy through design through the Elevator UK Accelerator program, and am a Circular Economy Business Ambassador.
I hold a PhD in Human Geography from the University of Dundee, Scotland which focused on multi-actor learning in disaster risk reduction contexts in collaboration with the Scottish Government Resilience Division; an MRes in Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews investigating how resilience framing influences effective policy implementation (distinction); and a BA Hons in Community Regeneration and Development (first class).
