Hello there, my name is Humberto! I am a full stack engineer with advanced expertise in TypeScript, PHP and DevOps. But let's rewind a bit, shall we?

My journey began in 2010, not as a professional developer, but as a curious teenager experimenting with creating games and servers. To my surprise, things went surprisingly well and in 2012 I launched my first game server (written in C), which quickly attracted over a hundred active players. I had taken my first step into the universe of programming, and I was captivated.

Over the next couple of years, I realized this wasn't just a hobby. This was my passion and I could do that for the rest of my life. Indeed, that’s what I am doing for the past 12 years.

My professional journey in tech began with creating original website layouts and turning prototypes into functional products using PHP and Javascript. Along the way, I have developed many user-friendly web and mobile applications with Typescript and C#, helping the companies to gain customers and boost their revenue. I also developed some complex systems, like web crowlers and high-available queue systems, which handled hundreds of thousands of jobs per day.

On the DevOps and infrastructure world, I have migrated a full Kubernetes cluster between two cloud providers. I also designed and maintained communication architectures for it, which involved over 60 dockerized microservices. Through my efforts, cloud costs were reduced and the software was improved.

Currently, I am focused on refining existing software and optimizing performance using advanced Node and Typescript for a U.S.-based client in the education sector.

Every step of this journey has contributed to my passion and expertise. Today, as I look forward to new opportunities and challenges, I bring along a decade's worth of experience, a boundless passion for coding, and the same youthful enthusiasm that propelled a teenager to launch his own game server.
