I am Bapan Haldar, in my long 18 years of professional life, I have been associated with different types of projects in various positions, working with success in different government and non-government funding agencies and in different geographical areas.
I have the skills to create concept-based project proposals in specific areas, data analysis on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) product research, community needs assessment. Prepare development project plans and designs as per ESG product research, data analysis, ESG regulatory environment, budget and resource monitoring for implementation of women empowerment and livelihood development. Maintain networking to enhance the effectiveness of project outcomes Networking and communicating with identified stakeholders (Government / Corporate / NGO / CBO). Provide training at organizational, stakeholder and community levels for improved awareness/knowledge/management skills. To identify gaps through impact analysis assessment and guide the organization on the best solutions to overcome those gaps to achieve desired outcomes.
As a Project Management Professional, I have experience in successfully managed the team size of 20 to 25 members and budget of 50 to 100 crores and developed project proposals based on business development concepts; Planned, designed, budgeted for implementation of projects; Networking and liaising with stakeholders; Prepare capacity building plans by assessing training needs. Long term business and other programme and implementation of strategic plans and programmes. Promotion of business Development Centres helps in bridging the gap between demand and supply of skilled manpower by providing training in skill development and upskilling. Facilitating, hand holding and nurturing young personal to bring about long term sustainable solutions, capacity building, providing initial support and closely monitoring.
I usually form a cross functional team to develop the project plan and assist the team in finalizing the WBS, schedule, resource plan, duration estimate and budget. We discussed the plan with assumptions and constraints to identify risks and develop risk register and estimate log. I presented the plan to the department head and sponsor and got it approved.
As part of the execution, all the thematic experts and cross functional teams were trained in the new system and process. I managed the team and engaged key stakeholders throughout the roll-out of the new project for effective adaptation. I managed conflicts and documented issues. Change requests were raised and documented for analysis through integrated change control.
I monitored project performance on a weekly basis and analyzed it to calculate variances and reported performance during weekly review meetings with stakeholders on key deliverables such as project and product scope, various milestones, and cost baselines throughout the project life cycle. I managed changes systematically through a formal approval process.
Acceptance testing ensured project scope was completed and deliverables were achieved. Facilitate project closure, transfer ownership to assigned stakeholders. I organized a lessons learned workshop to discuss the full status of lessons learned throughout the project. Key documents and reports were archived as per the communication plan. For the sustainability of the project, the project implementation team has given extra emphasis on imparting knowledge from technical staff to beneficiaries so that the empowerment/capacity building process adds to the sustainability of the project beyond the stipulated project period. Get feedback from relevant stakeholders using appropriate tools and techniques based on the stakeholder management plan to assess their satisfaction.
I have first-hand experience of working with beneficiaries on the ground, with grassroots level organizations and with some national and international level funding agencies, training institutions and experts in the field working in the areas indicated above.
