I always wanted to be a biomedical engineer due to my passion for engineering and health and motivated by my dietary condition, coeliac disease, and I attended this course at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto (ISEP) and then the master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at the same institute, but I was always involved in other activities such as Music, where I reached the 8th grade in a Music Academy and played the Tuba, and the martial art Karate, where I reached the 7th Kyu, and also Hiep Khi Vo Dao (Vietnamese marcial art).

Along the way, I completed the Scientific-Technological Secondary Course in Applied Biotechnology at the Colégio de São Gonçalo where I obtained the Level 4 Certification of the QNQ (National Qualifications Framework) and in addition, I belonged to a youth group in my locality and took part in organising and promoting events and was involved in another youth group called APC Jovem where I promoted events, content and initiatives for young people with coeliac disease. All this has allowed me to develop my soft skills, interpersonal and professional management and group management.

My goals are: to become a better engineer with better training and experience in the field and to join my area of passion, biomedical engineering, and to cultivate and discover new fields and horizons related to that area.
