I have 8 years of professional experience. Previously, I worked in the fintech and life coaching industries. I have done all my projects in Java and Spring Boot. In my last project, I used Java 21 and Spring Boot 3 and different AWS services. 

I developed many microservices. I am experienced in developing projects from scratch and designing scalable systems. I debugged production issues and is proficient in root-cause analysis. I am also familiar with Golang, Kotlin and Python but not an expert. 

I used various databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch. I am also proficient in SQL.

I was part of two startup teams. I was part of the team from the very beginning and both projects have active users.

Mentionable achievements:
- Worked on "Notification microservice" that increased 5% user interactions due to focused push notifications to various users.
- Wrote an image resize Lambda and backend API optimization to reduce dashboard loading time from 8 seconds to 5 seconds.
- Optimized EventBridge scheduler events by grouping same-frequency events into a single event. That reduced events for both EventBridge and SQS and reduced the AWS bill.
- Implemented a simplified version of the payment flow to improve performance and reduce the complexity of the flow. It increased paid users and trial conversion on GrowthDay.
- Closely worked with the marketing and customer success teams to help them fix customers technical issues and improve the customer experience. Also implemented several APIs to automate CS team related issues. This saves important developer time. Fahim got good feedback from the marketing and CS teams.
- I developed a customized project management tool from scratch and delivered it to the client successfully. The client was back for more upgrades as the first version was successful. Company benefited from that project.
