I have thirteen years’ working experience with eleven years heading the Internal Audit department while reporting to the Audit Committee.
I am currently working as a senior internal auditor and head of internal audit department at Murang’a University of Technology. I previously worked as an internal auditor (Grade 12) and head of department and the University of Kabianga and Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University. I also worked as a head of internal audit at Wakenya Pamoja Sacco and as a functional ERP systems consultant at MFI group ltd.
I hold a master’s degree in business administration (finance) from Jomo Kenyatta University in addition to a bachelor's degree in business and management (Accounting Option) from Egerton University. Moreover, I am a C.P.A.K. holder (Member No 12262). I am a certified E.R.P Consultant (Epicor 9). I have attended diverse courses in audit, financial reporting, risk and management as listed in my curriculum vitae. Furthermore, I am conversant with the use of a variety of information systems like Quick books, Pastel, Asmas, Sage, Iscala and all Microsoft applications.
