I’m an experienced HR professional having 13+ years of experience in different HR verticals in Multinational organizational environment in Sri Lanka. Since, I have worked for Unilever, got experience in global HR practices and trends. In that context handled roles which enclosed HR Business Partnering, Industrial Relations, Employee Relations, Learning & Development, HR Services, HR Expertise and People Experience Management which includes Work place services management as well.
I have worked across the company with different department and their leadership teams. In some roles, I was the strategic HR business partner, in my last factory HR role, I was the unit HR head. I have 7 years of experience being individual contributor and 6 years in supervisory capacity. Since I’m capable strategic thinker and firm executer, managed to land many initiatives to the organization throughout the roles I have performed.
Empathetic listening is the skill which helped me to gain trust and the credibility among the many teams I had worked with. Also, with the positive relationships between my partners and team members, I developed talent through mentorship and coaching by providing space in which everyone can feel motivated and valued. My communication skills allow me to express my ideas actively and also my experience has taught me how to arrive resolution through the constructive arguments.
Reason of looking for new opportunity is, I recently moved to Galway, Ireland under my spouse’s Critical Skill Visa category and I’m also having full time working right. Therefore, I would like to continue my career journey with more international exposure by finding right opportunity.
