I am an Environmental (BSc) and Biosystems Engineer (MSc), with a PhD Earth System Science. I am broadly interested in climate variability and change, and overall converting data into message. I work with models of varying complexity, from simple empirical models, to global ocean and Earth system models. Topic-wise, I have worked on the ocean carbon cycle and its physical boundaries, and previously on developing quantitative indices to improve the predictability of the South American monsoon. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, where I am working with global, coupled, high-resolution (kilometer-scale) climate models. I am open for exciting positions in all areas of research.
