My name is David Márquez Castro, and I graduated from the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla with a degree in English Language Teaching. Throughout my professional career, I have developed experience in higher education, international recruitment, market development, academic management, strategic partnerships, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Currently, I serve as Recruitment Specialist for the University of Ottawa, leading student recruitment initiatives, institutional positioning, and strategic market development across Latin America and the Caribbean. In this role, I collaborate with schools, universities, agencies, government organizations, and strategic partners to strengthen institutional presence and create international opportunities for students.

My professional experience includes roles in academic management, language coordination, educational administration, teaching, and team leadership, allowing me to develop expertise in strategic planning, annual operational program design, reporting and follow-up processes, academic calendar management, international, social, and cultural event organization, project development, and operational coordination.

Additionally, I have actively participated in recruitment, talent acquisition, and human capital management while leading collaborations with national and international organizations, including government institutions, non-profit organizations, and international partners to develop projects and achieve institutional objectives.

As an educator, I have experience working with diverse groups and multicultural environments, developing dynamic, inclusive, and student-centered methodologies that promote meaningful learning, active participation, and autonomy.
