Hi my name is Dave and I am a Python API Engineer, DevOps, Tech Lead, Founder and CTO. I am the Co-founder and CTO of Jane's Weather www.janesweather.com, a data driven application that takes forecast data from different forecast models and displays the variance between them so the users can better see the overall confidence in any given forecast.

This application required the implementation of a Kubernetes cluster, a workflow engine, python data science stack, ReactJS, JIRA. As a founding member I was required to be a Full Stack Engineer to lay the groundwork of the application and attract seed funding. Later I would be required to source additional contractors including Front End and API Engineers, Atmospheric Data Scientists, UX Designers, Business Analysts, Product Designers, etc. I would manage the end to end process of the project and the team output, ensuring the MVP requirements were correctly implemented.

I have above excellent communication skills and I'm able to take the product requirements and get them implemented to specification. I have a lot of experience in conflict resolution and ensuring that any potential obstacles or blockers are overcome with minimal disruption to project schedule and to the satisfaction of both the business and the developers.

I am very adaptable and can fit into either a developer or management role and I'm happy to go between both if that's required.
