I've always had a passion for helping others, this led me to enter the field of healthcare, where I’ve worked for over six years. At my current position working remotely as a Care Coordinator, I learned more about software engineering, and with the shift to remote work, I decided to start teaching myself to code as I’ve had a lot more free time.

After self-teaching for a month, I realized how much I genuinely enjoyed software development and decided to pursue a career in the field. I love how the IT industry is constantly changing and expanding. Working as a software engineer, I will continuously learn and grow so I’ll never be bored.

I am currently in the process of completing a Software Engineering Immersive program at General Assembly. I am learning how to build full-stack web applications, which has been incredibly enjoyable.
