I started my career as a research assistant in 2004 and subsequently became a research team leader under ICFAI Foundation (at IBS Research Centre, Kolkata) in 2007. I used to write and also guide RAs in writing industry reports, business case studies and other related documents. I have authored and published more than 20 business case studies and research papers. I can send you samples of my published works, on request.
I received the best case study award for my case titled, “Investors Hate a Matured Google” in an international conference held at IIT Bombay in 2007 and another award in 2020 for a case titled, “Human Resource Challenges in a Pandemic World” presented in the ANUBHAV case study contest organized by the Management Training Institute of Steel Authority of India Ltd, India. Besides, I have extensively presented at various forums.
I carry wide areas of research, learning and knowledge sharing interest with attention on ICT, e-governance, business trends, industry analysis, life skills, HRM, corporate wellness, qualitative and quantitative research etc. I enjoy writing reports, studying companies and industries, engaging in secondary and field research (exemplified by 600 + responses for my doctoral questionnaire), providing training and delivering presentations. Besides, I have worked on Advanced Excel and SPSS.
With my initial stint in full-time research and subsequent engagement in academic research, teaching and institution development, I am in lookout for a suitable opportunity in remote research at this stage of my career, obviously for a better work-life balance, and to an extent, get a closer connect with the corporate world.
