As a researcher for The Hub at Eagle Wharf, a new public space for creative engagement and idea generation with a focus on new and digital technologies, I apply my skills in co-development, problem-solving, and design research to help set up this new UAL venue. I conduct extensive desktop research relating to community and charitable projects and use a range of methods and tools to facilitate workshops and events for local people of all ages, creative start-ups, and social innovators.

My passion for making and storytelling stems from my background in textile craft, which I studied at the Institute Technology Bandung in Indonesia. I continued my education at UAL, where I graduated with a master's degree in MA Material Futures in 2021. During this time, I developed a deep interest in fusing traditional values with contemporary design to create more sustainable materials. One of the highlights of my journey was my final project, where I transformed waste from coffee roasting processes into unique materials for crafting Indonesian shadow puppets. This project showcased the immense potential of reimagining the ordinary into the extraordinary and inspired me to explore the hidden value within the coffee industry waste. My goal is to contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future by infusing creativity and purpose into everything I do.
