My software engineering journey began all the way back in 2012 when I was 17-years old and started to work as a freelancer of websites development for small companies in Maranhão, using PHP (no framework) and jQuery (with a touch of vanilla js).

Fast-forward to 2016 when I started to work for the government at SEAP (Penitentiary State Department of Maranhão). Here I spent a bunch of time working in a highly critical and secured environment, and I would like to focus on an extremely challenging solution that was SIISP (Intelligence, Information, and Prison Security System).
The SIISP had a big challenge that was integrating a bunch of different State departments to improve the inmate admission flow and reduce the time spent on inmate triage.
My team had to work with a customized stack (JSF + Spring Boot) optimized to run on an old browser with low-speed bandwidth, with local hardware integration (fingerprint reader), using PostgreSQL as the main database, deployed in on-premise servers configured to be accessible in prison located in remote areas.

After working on dozens and dozens of different projects (Education, Logistics, Government, Health Care, Financial, Foreign Trade, etc...), I wanted to focus my career on digital products and application modernization, so I started working at Bossabox in the spring of 2020 as a Solutions Architect Specialist. I worked with a remarkable team of people empowering those who transform, a bit every single day.

Today I'm working as a Principal Engineer at Creditas, improving our engineering strategy and making it more empowered.
