Benjamin Byinshi is a masterโs degree holder in Agriculture Economics with experience in designing and implementing maize value chains research especially in food safety and post-harvest handling areas. He has participated in numerous studies including Rwanda grain market project done with IFC on defining and increasing the quality of maize in Rwanda. Recently he worked with Rockefeller on wholegrain flour project where he was responsible of mapping potential maize processors in Rwanda. This was focusing on assessing the installed capacity for production, the types of technology in use and the requirements to shift to wholegrain production.
