I am Alvin and have graduated with a bachelor of Electrical & Electronic Degree in Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, Malaysia. I enjoy reading books on business, personal finance, investing, and business biographies. I also enjoy reading and getting up to speed with news about technologies/ gadgets. Whenever possible, I will spend time doing some hikes or night runs. Work experience wise, I have had experiences in site management, project management & coordination, learned from my work experience as a site engineer, project engineer, and also a project coordinator.

And since I was an equipment engineer before my current role as a senior project engineer, I do maintenance work alongside teaching, training and being the shift lead for our shifts. When I was called back to normal shift, I developed SOPs and procedures to smoothen workflows on the production floor, I am also in charge of spareparts and inventory management to ensure the availability of parts when the needs arose. To do that, I have been trained and am proficient in FMEA, 5whys root cause analysis, 8D reports, and 6 sigmas as well.

I am a good listener and have always resolved most conflicts peacefully through effective communication and active listening. I believe in communicating respectfully instead of yelling to get a message across.
